Stories & Writing

Two series in the making — follow the journey from scribbled ideas to whimsical tales waiting to be told.

Series One

Starfall Hollow

Where the forest holds its breath and the stars have stories of their own.

A series of bedtime picture books set in a moonlit woodland filled with curious creatures, quiet magic, and the kind of wonder that lives just past the treeline. Each book stands alone, but the world grows richer with every tale.

Idea

Owl and the Almost-Morning

An owl who has never seen sunrise decides that tonight is the night she stays awake just long enough to find out what all the fuss is about.

Series Two

The Garden Gate Letters

Small creatures, big feelings, and the slow magic of taking your time.

A series of picture books set in an overgrown cottage garden, where the residents communicate entirely by letter and nothing important ever happens in a hurry. Warm, funny, and quietly emotional.

Early Draft

Snail Mail

The Ladybird Who Left

Writing Journal

March 2026

Finished the first rough draft of "The Little Fox Who Lost Her Stars" — 24 pages of pure chaos and magic.

January 2026

Started sketching character concepts. Fennick has gone through 12 different ear shapes so far.

November 2025

The idea for Starfall Hollow hit me while walking through autumn leaves. Wrote the entire plot outline on the back of a grocery receipt.
